“Bringing wireless power technology to the surface of the Moon and beyond is a game changer in the way space robotics systems have traditionally interacted.”

Pushing the boundaries of the final frontier
Space exploration rovers traditionally rely on solar arrays or nuclear reactors to power expeditions – but these methods can limit range and impede missions. It’s also extremely difficult to make cable connections in space due to the bulky nature of space suits and gloves.
In partnership with NASA, Astrobotic, Bosch, and the University of Washington, WiBotic is providing wireless charging systems to power rovers on the lunar surface. Our solution will enable fleets of small rovers to travel greater distances and even survive the harsh lunar night without needing their own source of power generation. Unlike physical cable connections, WiBotic systems are also fully sealed and impervious to the effects of harsh lunar dust and regolith.
