Onboard Chargers (OCs) are the brains behind the WiBotic system. Installed on the robot, UAV or other vehicle, the OC converts wireless power back to DC and provides intelligent battery charging and battery monitoring for fleet-wide power optimization.
All WiBotic OCs can also be used for plug-in or contact based charging through the use of the auxiliary DC input – offering a fully programmable and monitorable option for those who don’t need wireless charging.
The OC-262 is WiBotic’s first passively cooled model for applications where fans are not desired – such as in outdoor environments – and where there is an opportunity to dissipate system heat through the OC’s aluminum base. The “-WP” sub-model has a fully sealed and gasketed enclosure with waterproof connectors and has an IP67 ingress rating. It can be installed inside or outside the robot chassis and is perfect for outdoor or challenging indoor environments. It has an aluminum base for heat dissipation and is normally used with the IP67 rated version of the RC-100 receiver antenna (quoted separately).
The OC-262-WP is typically paired with the TR-301 Transmitter to achieve the full 300W output rating.
