PowerPad Design Guide
The WiBotic PowerPad Design Guide is a complimentary set of documentation for customers who wish to design a drone landing pad or hangar with autonomous battery charging between flights. The guide provides an overview of the necessary WiBotic components and how to install them for reliable operation. It includes photos, CAD files and drawings of a sample landing pad that has been thoroughly tested in the WiBotic lab and in the field. Material specifications are also provided to avoid interference with power transfer through the landing surface and into the drone battery. We’ve also included suggestions for mounting WiBotic receiver components in case a mounting kit doesn’t already exist for your drone (see the Integrated Options page for a list of drone kits). Note that the drone must have the ability to accurately land on the landing pad size you choose to design. Depending upon the accuracy of your precision landing system, an additional mechanism to align the wireless power antennas after landing may also be required.
